Sexshop.cz is a leading Czech online store in the adult products market, with a long tradition and a wide range of products. The store runs on its own platform and needed a flexible way to integrate a recommendation system.
Solution
We chose the SAIMON API integration, which made it possible to:
- Connect flexibly to the existing store system without having to change the design
- Deliver personalized recommendations based on customer behavior
- Integrate into the results page - search results and recommendations are returned as structured data
- Provide cross-sell recommendations - related product suggestions while browsing and in the cart

Measured data shows:
- Order contribution: +295 CZK - on average, recommendations add this value to every order
- Recommendation effectiveness: 1.8× - products shown in recommendations generate 1.8× higher revenue per impression than the regular catalog
- Revenue growth: 4-24 % - recommendations generate 4-24 % of the store's total revenue
- Controlled AOV: +12 % - when comparing orders with the same number of items, customers who interact with widgets have a 12 % higher order value
- Search conversion: 14 % - search effectively helps customers find products
