Products with an exact match in the name rank higher than matches in the description or parameters.

By sales performance

Best-selling products are displayed higher for maximum conversion.

By margin

By stock availability

In-stock products take priority over those that are unavailable.

By product age

How strategy combination works

Search results are sorted in layers according to priorities:

1. Primary sorting — Relevance

Products are first split into groups based on where the match was found (name vs. description).

2. Secondary sorting — Stock availability

In-stock products are displayed higher than unavailable ones.

3. Tertiary sorting — Your strategy

Within the stock groups, the strategies you selected (sales performance, margin, etc.) are applied.

This layered approach guarantees that customers always see relevant and available products first, while you retain control over merchandising within those groups.
